About Habitual Sleepers

Hey, there! I’m Cass, your certified child sleep consultant

With a Bachelor's degree in Family Child Development from Texas State University, I began my childcare journey in 2013. Over the years, I've supported diverse families, addressing challenges like colic, reflux, and sensory sensitivities. Importantly, sleep issues emerged as a common thread during times of heightened stress and daily demands.

Eager to provide assistance, I earned certification from the Family Sleep Institute as a Child Sleep Consultant . Acknowledging sleep's crucial role in all phases, I also became a Certified Newborn Care Specialist through CACHE international-accredited NewbornCareSolutions, dedicated to helping families at every stage.

Throughout my experience as a Sleep Consultant and Newborn Care Specialist, I discovered a strong connection between behavior and sleep. Behavior is deeply interconnected with sleep, and the way we teach these skills plays a crucial role in building emotional safety and security. This understanding inspired me to pursue my Certification as a Child Behavior Specialist through the Early Years Program, allowing me to integrate behavioral support with sleep to help families nurture emotional growth and healthy sleep foundations. I provide expert sleep consulting services in Austin, Texas, and globally, as well as newborn night nanny and night nurse services in Austin. In addition, I offer comprehensive child behavior support for families in Austin and worldwide.

WHEN I’M OFF THE CLOCK

Beyond my role in assisting families, I find joy in reading at local coffee shops, swimming in Barton Springs, exploring what mother nature has to offer, and traveling the world. I'm passionate about continual learning, building a community, and navigating a healthy lifestyle with a focus on something more meaningful than the elusive concept of balance.

What Parents Are Saying

Cassidy got us our nights back after 7 months of extremely bad sleeping habits with our 4 year old. We worked through attachment issues, power struggles, extreme tantrums and midnight wakings with Cassidy and all are gone now. We went from having a child that couldn’t soothe herself to sleep and stay asleep, coming into our bedroom every night; to a girl that can put herself to sleep peacefully within 30 minutes, stays asleep and in her bed and wakes up rested. All with compassionate training tactics, not harsh discipline. We did the 2 week training program and it was worth every penny and more! My husband and i are so happy to have our evenings back and to have a daughter that is getting the rest she needs! Thank you Cassidy!

She is an expert at newborn care and helped us to achieve 6-7 hour stretches of sleep within a few weeks.

Thanks to Cassidy, I had a great postpartum experience with my second child. I knew that I could rest and recover when she came over because my son was in safe and experienced hands. She is an expert at newborn care and helped us to achieve 6-7 hour stretches of sleep within a few weeks. We hired her for 6 weeks, but I wish that I could have hired her for 3 months!
